Our Lord Jesus invites us to ask in faith and receive in faith those promises which the Father makes available to His children. We come boldly to the throne of the Lord with our petition and know He has heard us; therefore, our request is answered (1 John 5:14,15). We either have an immediate manifestaiton of the answered prayer or we continue in faith until the answer is completely received.
Our Father delights in blessing His family. He calls His children His heirs. An heir has an inheritance. In your case, the inheritance is everything that the Father possesses. The blessings of every promise in the Old and New Covenant are available to you.
However, there is a thief whose desire is to steal the blessings you receive from the Father. Satan may attempt to bring sickness back to a body that has received healing. The symptoms or pains may return. If you do not have confidence that God has healed you through His Word, you may say, "I guess I'm not healed." When you get into unbelief, you give your healing away. Satan then has been effective in stealing your inheritance by causing you to doubt what God has done.
It is the Father's will that you be healed. Psalm 107:20 says, "He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions."
By following 3 simple steps, you keep your Father's blessings and avoid the enemy's traps.
Jesus said of the Father's words, "Thy word is truth" (John 17:17). You need to agree that your Father's words are the true way of life. To Think Straight means that you study God's Word and think like He thinks. His thoughts are true; therefore, your thoughts are truth also. Thinking Straight will keep you from falling for the lies of the thief.
You will speak words based on what is in your heart in abundance. If you are putting God's truth continually into your heart (spirit), then your words will agree with the truth that you have been thinking.
God used His words to create the universe. Jesus used the Father's words to cause healing to flow to sick bodies, deliverance to come to those bound by Satan, prosperity to abound in time of need, and calmness to come to the wind and waves.
Believers are to do the works that Christ performed (John 14:12). When you speak the words of truth from your Father, you will have the desired results. When you agree with the Father that you are healed, after He healed your body, then you are Speaking Straight. Jesus paid the price for your healing. He suffered our griefs on the cross; griefs means diseases and sicknesses (Isaiah 53:4). By His stripes you are healed. It is done!
When you believe for your healing and it is received, do not allow the thief to come and cause you to speak against the gift of God's healing that you received. Keep your Speaking Straight.
When your body has been set free from pain and disease, then act like it is so. Do what you could not do before and keep thanking the Lord for healing you. If your healing has not fully manifested, keep the picture of yourself completely whole in your mind. Picture yourself completely restored to health. That is the way God sees you. See yourself that way.
When you line up your Thinking, Speaking and Acting with God's Word of truth, then Satan's suggestions will gain no hold on you. When you resist his thoughts of doubt and symptoms of pain or affliction, he will not be able to steal from you (James 4:7).
These 3 simple steps will enable you to retain your inheritance from the Father. It works for prosperity, deliverance from Satan's bondage, healing, and all other gifts such as peace, wisdom, knowledge and the flow of God's love through your life to others.
Joshua 1:8 tells it this say: "This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth (speak); but thou shalt meditate (think) therein day and night, that thou observe to do (act) according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success."
Some people do not immediately receive a full manifestation of their healing. Use the prayer and command below to gain freedom from every symptom that may linger on your body.
If you received the full manifestation of your healing and the symptoms try to come back on your body, then use the prayer and command to retain your healing.
Be strong in your command against the enemy. Believe in your heart that what you desire will come into manifestation now.
"Father, I believe your Word for my healing. Therefore, (say the name of the affliction) you have to bow before the name of Jesus. According to Philippians 2:9,10, Jesus' name is higher than your name. Therefore, you have to leave me in the name of Jesus. You have no right to be on this body because it is the temple of the Living God. (State the name of the affliction) you depart from me, and every symptom leave me now in the Name of Jesus. [1]
"Satan, I am submitted to God. He is my Father and His Word is truth. I am forgiven of all wrongdoing. According to James 4:7, I resist you and you must flee from me now. In the name of Jesus, I am free from your symptoms and afflictions. You cannot steal, kill or destroy me. Jesus has healed me, so I refuse to accept your affliction back on my body. Devil, you are a liar. Jesus, you are my healer. Thank you Jesus for my healing.
"Thank you Father that you sent your Word and healed me and delivered me from my destruction according to Psalm 107:20. Jesus redeemed me from sickness and disease at the cross. He also bore my pains. Therefore,
I no longer need to be sick and in pain. It is your will Father that I be completely whole in every area of life.
I have claimed that blessing for myself. Thank you for healing me now! " (Now begin to do what you could not do before). [2]
[1] The basis of this command is Mark 11:23. You believe God's Word on healing, and on the basis of His Word, you speak against the sickness and pain which is the mountain that you desire to move off of your body.
[2] Reword this confession if your need is different than healing. Use appropriate scriptures that fit your situation. Included here are scriptures covering the areas of poverty or lack, and fear, worry, and anxiety.
