(Luke 21:36)

She says she loves Me. 
But she does not call.
I hear her tell others. 
But I don't hear from her,
"Despite the sufferings,
my love is true... 
merely a test as He is wont to do. 
The precedent was set in Job,"
she reminds.

Once, she called daily, sometimes more. 
We'd spend long quiet evenings together. 
I would comfort her throughout the night. 
She would awake with Me in her thoughts--
I held a prominent place then. 
And there was no need for her to tell others
as it showed in all We did for each other. 
     Now,
her telling is the only way they'll know.
